Exchange Spreads
The Spread Exchange tool is launched by selecting Exchange Spreads off the File Exchange menu.
The Spread Exchange tool allows you to share spreads with other users and to download and use the spreads that they have shared. The top left hand part of the screen allows you to filter the spreads that are shown, helping you to find the particular kind of spread that you might be looking for. By default, when you first open the Spread Exchange tool, all the available spreads are shown.
You can use the following filters:
Name: Show only spreads containing specific words in the name of the spread.
Text: Search for specific key words anywhere in the spread notes.
Number of Cards: The total number of cards used in the spread.
Language: The language of the spread notes.
Sort By: This lets you specify the sort order of the results.
Filters can be combined. For each filter you want to use you have to check the accompanying box in order to enable you to set the filter. When you have set the filters you are interested in press the search button to show all matching results.
If you have designed a spread or translated one into your own language and you want to share it with other users you can use the following tool:
You simply have to select the language that the spread is in from the drop down box and then press the upload button to browse for the spread. When you select it, it is uploaded to the Exchange. The Delete button lets you stop sharing a spread you have uploaded previously.
